Meaghan is an Ottawa-based professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor with over 10 years of training, specializing in hip-hop, Afro, and commercial dance. Her experience includes performing for FIFA alongside Shakira, recognized by Sean Paul, and performing in Lyle Beniga’s showcase at Vision. She has also collaborated with dancer and creator Enola Bédard in Los Angeles, with her work featured on CTV, CBC, TVA, and CFRA. As an instructor, Meaghan leads workshops, private training, and classes across Ottawa, helping dancers develop their individuality, performance quality, and confidence while staying true to their own style.

Originally from Kyrgyzstan, Damika is a dance instructor and performing artist with nearly 14 years of experience. She began training in ballroom dance at six before expanding into dancehall, jazz funk, hip-hop, and freestyle. As a member of Salja Dance, Style Out, and Unit One, she brings strong performance skills and a focus on musicality, groove, and personal expression. Her teaching style creates a supportive environment where students can build strong foundations and confidence.

Born in Nigeria and based in Canada, Romi is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor whose style blends hip-hop, Afro, Afrofusion, contemporary, and modern dance. Inspired by LA choreography and K-pop, she began teaching in 2019 and has since worked with dancers of all ages across Ottawa. As a performer and team leader, Romi has trained and performed with groups including uOttawa’s Black Student Leaders Association and StyleOut, bringing a strong focus on growth, artistry, and self-expression to her teaching.

With over 12 years of dance training across Ottawa, China, and Los Angeles, Nicole is a dance instructor, choreographer, and performer specializing in K-pop, jazz funk, commercial, and contemporary dance. She is also the co-founder and current leader of Ottawa’s K-pop dance team, Nova Dance. With extensive experience teaching dancers of all ages, Nicole has spent the past five years teaching youth K-pop and youth jazz funk, including choreographing competition routines for young dancers. She is valued by her students for her supportive, grounded teaching approach and uplifting energy.

Gloria is a Chinese-Canadian dancer and instructor from Toronto with over 12 years of dance and performance experience. Her training spans ballet, traditional Chinese dance, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, K-pop, and street dance. She is a co-leader of IMMACULATE Dance and has experience teaching K-pop choreography through team training and community workshops. Gloria brings a fun and inclusive approach to teaching, creating a space where dancers can grow, connect, and enjoy their love for dance.

Sora is a dance instructor and performer with over 10 years of experience and a strong background in jazz funk, ballet, hip-hop, and lyrical through competitive dance. She has also trained in commercial dance and contortion, developing a versatile style that ranges from high-energy to softer, fluid movement. Her training across Ghana, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Japan, and Australia has exposed her to diverse dance cultures and perspectives. At WKND, Sora strives to create fun, welcoming classes where dancers can build confidence, express themselves, and connect through movement.

Ai is an Ottawa-based dancer and instructor with over five years of experience in choreography and jazz funk. With a strong foundation in musicality, performance, and versatility, she is also an active member of several K-pop dance teams, performing both boy-group and girl-group choreography across Ottawa, Montreal, and China. At WKND, Ai brings energy, precision, and strong stage presence to her classes while creating a fun and encouraging space for dancers to grow and challenge themselves.
